Retro x Hansen Garments x Motorious

This April, I had the great pleasure to work with two of the major Danish brands based Copenhagen: Hansen Garments and Motorious.

Hansen Garments, founded in 2010 by a dinamic duo, Åse Helena Hansen and Per Chrois Christensen remains privately owned and run by a small dedicated team. Åse, a Norwegian designer, holds a Master from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts while Chrois, with a Master in International Development and Communication envisioned a brand that stood apart from the exsisting market, a brand focussed on building strong enduring relationships with like minded individuals. They embraced the ethos of Slow Fashion, crafting seasonless garments with elements of classic menswear that encourage personal expression. Hansen clothes are made to last, only using high quality suppliers and manufacturers personally selected, sourcing fabrics, and producing in Europe to reduce environmental impact.

Notably, they move against the norms and never offer end of season discounts aiming to avoid producing garments with a built in expiry date.

Motorious founders have been Hansen’s friends for many years. What began as a project centered around motorcycles and motorcycle apparel in a backyard has evolved into a menswear-focussed endeavour. Now located in Copenhagen meatpacking district , Motorious offers a curated section of menswear, including Hansen Garments. Despite their grow, they maintain a grounded philosophy, offering visitors a cup of coffee maintaining a presence of old motorcycles on the premises, and keeping Vega, a giant black Schnauzer to charming visitors with her sweetness.

I was honoured to bring together this two esteemed brands, coordinating and directing a photo-shooting for the SS24 campaign. The collaboration proved to be a tremendous success, yielding compelling results
