Goodwood Revival

The 6-7-8 September 2024, I was at the Goodwood Revival, festival held at the Goodwood Circuit since the 1998 for cars and motorcycles that would have competed during the circuit’s original period 1948 to 1966.

The circuit situated near Chichester in West Sussex, was first presented in 1948, with its 3.8 km lenght it was an official race circuit until the 1966 when Goodwood saw its last race because the owners did not want to modify the track with more chicanes to control the increased speed of modern racing cars.

Today it is probably the most celebrated historic motor racing event and the only one to be staged entirely in period dress.

Goodwood Motor Circuit hosted all the best racers in the world from Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss to Jim Clark and Graham Hill just to name a few.
